Ilse Espresso Workshop
Saturday, June 14th or 28th from 2:30-4:30pm
This hands-on workshop will deepen your understanding of espresso and help you attain better and more consistent espresso with your at-home set-up. In this 2-hour session, we’ll dive into the fundamentals of espresso, covering everything from building an espresso recipe to understanding extraction and dialing in.
We’ll start by breaking down what really makes espresso, moving on to understanding extraction and formulating an espresso recipe. You’ll learn the anatomy of an espresso machine, develop a taste association of different types of extractions, and learn how to diagnose espresso and dial-in. Finally, you’ll get hands-on with a commercial espresso machine and grinder and get coached on proper technique.

This class is perfect for anyone looking to take their home espresso to the next level, whether you're just starting out or looking to fine-tune your skills.
We will be hosting two session each with 4 people per class:
Session 1: Saturday, June 14th from 2:30-4:30pm
Session 2: Saturday, June 28th from 2:30-4:30pm
Cost: $100 – Includes the 2-hour class, an espresso brew guide and a box of whole bean coffee to take home
