We are really excited to share this coffee with you all! Sandra placed 3rd in this year's annual Acevedo Cup competition. We were lucky enough to taste many of the competition coffees and Sandras coffee really stood out to us on the cupping table. Her coffee has great acidity and is incredibly sweet with flavors of sweet citrus and green tea. After numerous test roasts, we are very happy to be able to release this coffee to you all.
Sandra is a 2nd generation coffee farmer and has been producing coffee at her farm, El Roble, for 13 years. This lot is 100% Colombia. Her farm is 3 Hectares where she grows Colombia and Castillo. The coffee is fermented for 30 hours in cherry then pulped and fermented for an additional 40 hours. She then dries the coffee on raised beds for 15 days.
Sandra was paid 1.8mm Peso/Carga for this lot.
