Our first Honey processed Ethiopian for the season is here! Honey-processed coffees in Ethiopia are still somewhat rare, but they produce some of our favorite cup profiles. This coffee was processed at the Telila washing station located in Kecho Anderacha, Jimma. This is a newer washing station, this being its third year in production. What's unique about this coffee, is the lot is built from cherries exclusively from the kebele of Genji Challa. This is another layer of traceability that we usually can't find within Ethiopia.

The processing at Telila is impeccable, which gives us a coffee that is incredibly clean but with slightly more body and sweetness than what we find in washed Ethiopian coffee.

We taste a range of flavors here like orange marmalade, honeysuckle, stone fruits, and gummy fruit qualities that is leading to lychee.
