At 1950 MASL in San Agustin they are focused on growing exceptional coffee, mainly planting exotic varieties in an ideal environment. This is a separation of their Gesha, harvested in September 2025. The cup is floral and elegant with a slightly more viscous body than a lot of the other Gesha’s we have offered from Colombia. We are tasting lemon chamomile tea, elderflower, peach and honey.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe story of the Burbano brothers is built on hard work and a shared commitment to quality and development. Their journey into specialty coffee began when the oldest brother, Jenaro, introduced Jose to specialty coffee production and helped lay the foundation for the family's success. With this new farm, Jose hopes to continue that tradition by working alongside his younger brothers. Each brother brings a unique set of skills, and their collaborative approach is reflected in the exceptional coffees they produce. Here they have decided to focus on exotic varieties and have planted Gesha, Chiroso, Pacamara, and Laurina to name a few.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eCherries are picked at peak ripeness every 20 days and ferment overnight in a wooden hopper. The cherries are then depulped and wet fermented for 72 hours.
