We are excited to have this clean natural on our menu!  This coffee is a total flavor bomb, producing ripe fruit aromatics of mango and wild berries with a florality leaning into flavors of anise.

We have always been quite hesitant about naturals and have honestly never been the biggest fans because of the lack of cleanliness we found in so many we tasted. Ture Waji of Sookoo Coffee, who produced this lot is changing that perception for us. Ture is able to produce flavorful, complex, and deeply sweet naturals while maintaining a level of cleanliness that we find is lacking in so many we taste.

Goraa is produced at the Suke Drying Station station in Shaakkiso, Guji, which falls under the Oromia Region of Ethiopia. Approximately 23 farmers deliver cherry to this washing station, who all come from the village known as Uddo Hadammaa. They have between 2.5 and 3 Ha of land and their farms sit at an elevation of between 2,000 and 2,200 m.a.s.l. These producers generally grow and this lot is primarily comprised of the 74110 and 74112 varieties, which are local varieties selected for their production and disease resistance.

Goraa is the name of a tree or bush that produces wild berries, a bush quite common in the area and forests of the region
