This decaffeinated coffee comes from 16 smallholders, all in the area of Huila with farms between 1300-1700 MASL. The coffee is first washed and dried on raised beds before being sent to the plant to be de-caffeinated using the Ethyl Acetate method, sometimes referred to as sugar cane processing.
We love decafs of this method and find them to be incredibly sweet while holding onto the flavor of the coffee. We are finding flavors of Cherry, Chocolate and Caramel.
