Colombia | Laboyano
Washed Field Blend
Laboyano is a unique blend of small high scoring lots that were too small to be exported as a single lot. Grown at elevations ranging from 1800-1900 MASL this is a blend of Pink Bourbon, Caturra, Castillo, Colombia. We find a sweet cup with notes of citrus, creamy milk chocolate and stone fruit.
Oftentimes in the milling process there is coffee leftover that doesn't equate to a full 70kg exportable bag. This lot is a blend of many of these small lots to create a lovely blend from various micro-lots.
Cherries are hand picked at peak ripeness and floated to remove defects before being depulped. The seeds are then dry fermented for 24 hours, washed and then dried on raised beds for 16 days.
